Using rss

When live music Performing Artists join the community each get their own unique gig guide news feed. Each time you log in as a performing artist, you will be given the opportunity to list a public gig including listing support acts.

If it is a public gig, it will appear on yor own profile page in the "Playing Next" section. If it is a private gig, the listing will only appear in your admin area as a calendar entry.

How do I get my gig listed in RSS?

Performers log-in and submit an event.

If you want to automatically publish the gig information into your other websites, you can by submitting the address of your rss feed to feedburner.com. email info@bandfinder.com.au for advice.

A way you could use your RSS feed is to provide your fan site with some code which will automatically update their web site each time you enter or edit a gig in bandfinder. In this way, you can update serveral websites form your own admin area of bandfinder.
